Welcome to St. Francis Xavier’s Family Formation Religious Education Program! Family Formation is a Religious Education program that engages both the parents and the children in the family. Children are more likely to put into practice the faith they see lived out day-to-day at home. The Family Formation program serves students from K-8th grade and follows the liturgical cycle.

Enrollment Fees

Family Tuition: $265  (Catechists will receive a $100 refund of tuition to the original payment method in October.)

If a child is preparing to receive sacraments, additional fees are as follows:

  • First Reconciliation & First Communion:  $85

  • Confirmation:  $85

In order for a child to receive a sacrament, per Diocesan policy, your child must complete two years of religious education prior to receiving the sacrament. 

If your family is experiencing a financial hardship, please send an email to finance@sfxjoliet.org. Your registration will not be able to be completed until you contact our office.
